Produktinformation "DS-2222i Serial-to-Ethernet Device Server, 2x Isolated RS-232, PoE"
DS-2222i CR brings two RS-232 serial devices onto an Ethernet network without cable length restrictions. It suits engineers who need to reach legacy serial equipment over TCP/IP without rewriting host software, whether through a Virtual COM port on a Windows PC or a direct TCP connection.
Each serial port is isolated, with 3000 VDC signal isolation and 1000 VDC power isolation. The two Ethernet ports form a switch with LAN bypass, so units can be daisy-chained along a run to simplify wiring and reduce infrastructure. Power can come from IEEE 802.3af Class 1 PoE or from a +12 ~ 48 VDC terminal block.
Configuration is through the built-in HTTP web server, with static IP or DHCP addressing. A pair-connection mode can link two serial devices across an IP network as a serial bridge or tunnel, and UDP Search helps locate units on the network.
