Produktinformation "I-8431-G 4-Slot Ethernet Embedded Controller, 80188-40 CPU with MiniOS7"
The I-8431-G CR is an Ethernet embedded controller that hosts up to four I-8K or I-87K I/O modules in a single unit. Its MiniOS7 operating system gives engineers a familiar DOS-like environment with fast boot times, and the controller supports the full range of 8K and 87K modules, including DI, DO, DIO, AI, AO, counter/frequency and motion modules.
The gray-cover (G) variant is equipped with one RJ-45 Ethernet port and three COM ports, two RS-232 and one RS-232/RS-485, so it can communicate with remote hosts and field devices over both network and serial links. Built-in hardware diagnostics, a watchdog timer and a 64-bit hardware serial number support reliable operation and software protection.
Optional S-256 or S-512 battery-backed SRAM modules add data logger storage. Software is developed in C, and the controller suits remote monitoring and control tasks in environmental monitoring, power management and factory automation.
