The MQ-7251M brings 16 wet-contact digital inputs onto an Ethernet network, publishing their states over MQTT 3.1 or Modbus TCP for IIoT and automation systems. Its inputs accept sink or source wiring, so the module suits a wide range of digital sensors and switch contacts.
Configuration and monitoring are handled through a built-in web server with a web-based HMI, which can be opened in a standard browser on a computer or mobile device to check network connection status and I/O state. A 2-port 10/100 Base-TX switch with LAN bypass allows modules to be daisy-chained along a cable run, and dual watchdogs cover both the module and communications.
The module is housed in a metal casing and can be mounted on a DIN rail or on a wall. It is powered from +12 ~ +48 VDC with reverse polarity protection, and is rated for an operating temperature of -25 ~ +75 °C. Optical isolation provides 2500 VDC transient overvoltage protection, but there is no channel-to-channel isolation.
