The MQ-7255M is an Ethernet I/O module for IIoT installations that need to connect digital sensors and switches to a network using MQTT or Modbus TCP. It provides 8 digital inputs that accept both dry and wet contacts, and 8 digital outputs of the source type.
An integrated web interface lets you configure the module, check network and I/O status, and switch digital outputs from a standard browser on a computer or mobile device. The built-in 2-port switch with LAN bypass allows the module to be daisy-chained along a network run, which simplifies cabling in distributed installations.
Each output channel handles up to 650 mA at 25°C, with programmable power-on and safe values. The module offers optical isolation and dual watchdog protection, and is housed in a metal casing for DIN-rail or wall mounting. The MQ-7255M CR ordering code covers this RoHS-compliant configuration.
