PMD-2201-SC is a browser-configured power meter concentrator for engineers building energy monitoring and management systems. It polls ICP DAS Modbus power meters over RS-485 or Ethernet, records the readings and makes them available locally on its 7" touch panel and remotely through its built-in web server, so most setup can be done without writing code.
Control logic is handled on the device itself. A built-in IF-THEN-ELSE engine, timers and schedules can switch Modbus I/O modules according to power status, supporting power demand management and load shedding where required. Alarms can be sent via LINE, Telegram or Email, and power data can be logged to a microSD card and sent back automatically once a disconnected network is restored.
For integration, the unit supports Modbus TCP/RTU, SNMP, FTP and MQTT, and can connect to Microsoft Azure and IBM Bluemix IoT platforms as well as the ICP DAS IoTstar cloud software. This Simplified Chinese version is designed for panel mounting and is powered from 12 ~ 48 VDC or PoE (IEEE 802.3af).
