Produktinformation "PROFI-8155-G PROFIBUS DP Remote I/O Unit with 1 I/O Slot"
The PROFI-8155-G CR is a PROFIBUS DP slave unit that adds one I/O slot to a PROFIBUS network. The slot accepts I-8K, I-87K Low Profile and I-87K High Profile I/O modules, so a single unit can be fitted with the signal type a machine or process section needs without changing the network design.
Network integration is straightforward. The unit supports DP-V0 and DP-V1 read/write slave operation, detects the transmission rate automatically and takes its station address from rotary switches. Modules are selected and arranged through the GSD file, so no separate configuration tool is required for setup.
For maintenance, I-87K High Profile modules can be hot-swapped while the unit is running. The PROFIBUS side is isolated and protected against ESD, making the unit suitable for DIN-rail mounting in industrial control cabinets across a range of automation and process environments.
