TPD-280-M2 CR is a compact 2.8-inch touch HMI for building and home automation, where it can replace mechanical switches with an intelligent control pad. Its 240 x 320 colour TFT screen with resistive touch shows user-defined screens, and it installs on a standard wall-mount outlet.
The unit has one RS-485 port with Self-Tuner support and speaks Modbus RTU. Engineers can build applications with the free HMIWorks tool, using its GUI design environment, the Ladder Designer for PLC-style programming, or C language for custom communication protocols. The manufacturer states that Ladder Designer can be learned in no more than 30 minutes.
