TPD-430-H CR is a compact touch HMI for engineers who want to replace mechanical switches with intelligent control pads. Its 4.3-inch TFT touch screen offers 480 x 272 resolution and 65,535 colours, allowing user-defined picture frames and clear status displays in a small footprint.
The unit provides one RS-485 port with Modbus RTU protocol support and includes a real time clock. It is powered from a terminal block at +12 to 48 VDC and is supplied in the variant suited to a US outlet box, with a buzzer, rotary switch and reset button on board.
Application programs can be developed with the free HMIWorks tool. Ladder Designer suits PLC-oriented users, while C language support covers custom communication protocols and IT-focused development. The manufacturer states that Ladder Designer can be learned in no more than 30 minutes.
