The U-7517M CR is an OPC UA I/O module that combines eight analogue inputs and four digital outputs with a built-in dual-port Ethernet switch. The switch allows devices to be daisy-chained, which reduces cabling and the number of external switches needed in a network.
Powering is handled through Power over Ethernet to IEEE 802.3af, Class 3, so the module can be supplied from a PoE network or from a +12 ~ +48 VDC terminal block. Analogue inputs support voltage and current ranges selectable by jumper, with scaling to convert raw signals into more readable values. Data can be published over OPC UA Server/Client, MQTT Client and RESTful API, which can run simultaneously.
On-board logic rules (IF, THEN, ELSE), scheduled actions and I/O trigger messages help with local automation and device tracking. Configuration, control and monitoring are done through the built-in web interface, with no additional app required.
