The U-7558M is an Ethernet I/O module that brings eight AC/DC digital input channels onto an OPC UA network. Its OPC UA Server and Client, MQTT Client and RESTful API (HTTP or HTTPS) functions can run simultaneously, so the same input data can feed a field control system and a cloud platform without extra gateways.
A built-in dual-port 10/100 Base-TX switch lets units be daisy-chained along a line, reducing cable runs and the number of external switches. The module can be powered over Ethernet under IEEE 802.3af (Class 3) or from a +12 ~ +48 VDC terminal block, which helps where a separate supply point is inconvenient.
Configuration, control and I/O monitoring are handled through the built-in web user interface in a standard browser, with no additional app required. Logic rules (IF, THEN, ELSE), scheduled rule execution and I/O trigger messages written to CSV files or sent as line messages support local automation and device tracking.
