The iP-8847 CR is an 8-slot ISaGRAF-based Ethernet PAC for engineers who need IEC 61131-3 control logic running on an 80186 CPU at 80 MHz under MiniOS7. Embedded ISaGRAF Ver.3 SoftLogic handles the programming, while the eight hot-swap slots accept high profile I-87K serial I/O modules for expanding the system.
Communications are covered by dual 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet ports, four serial ports (RS-232/RS-485) and a wide protocol set including Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU, DCON, CAN/CANopen and UDP/TCP client and server functions. Battery-backed SRAM retains data through power loss, and redundant power inputs support higher availability designs.
