Produktinformation "I-8042 Digital I/O Module, 16-ch Isolated DI and 16-ch Sink DO"
The I-8042 CR is a digital I/O module from the I-8K/I-87K low-profile series, combining 16 optically isolated digital inputs with 16 isolated open-collector outputs in a single unit. Its inputs are wet contact type and can be wired as sink or source, which suits mixed field wiring in automation cabinets.
Each output channel is a sink-type (NPN) isolated open collector rated for a load of +5 ~ +30 VDC and up to 100 mA per channel. Photocoupler isolation, 3750 VDC intra-module isolation and ±4 kV ESD protection on each terminal help protect the module and the control system from electrical disturbance.
The CR ordering variant ships with the CA-4002F DB37 female connector with plastic cover and is identified by its blue cover. The module draws 1.5 W maximum and is rated for an operating range of -25 ~ +75 °C.
