The I-8054 CR combines eight isolated digital input channels and eight isolated digital output channels in one low-profile I-8K/I-87K module. It suits engineers who need to read field contacts and switch loads on the same I/O point count without adding separate modules.
The digital inputs accept wet contact signals and work with both sink and source wiring. The outputs are isolated open collector channels operating in sink mode, rated 700 mA per channel with a load voltage from +5 VDC to +50 VDC, and each output has overload protection. Sixteen I/O LEDs show the state of every input and output channel, and a separate LED indicates power and communication, which simplifies commissioning and fault finding.
- Isolation is rated at 3750 VDC within the module, and ESD immunity is ±4 kV contact for each terminal.
- The CR suffix identifies the blue cover version of the I-8054.
