I-8055 CR is a PAC I/O module that combines 8 non-isolated digital input channels and 8 non-isolated digital output channels in one unit. The inputs are designed for dry contact connections, where a switch or relay contact to GND sets the channel ON and an open contact sets it OFF. The outputs are sink-type open collector channels that switch to ground with a load voltage of +5 VDC to +30 VDC and up to 100 mA per channel.
Each channel status can be checked visually, as the module carries 16 LED indicators for the I/O channels, plus a power and communication indicator. Each terminal is rated for ±4 kV ESD protection (IEC 61000-4-2) as standard, which helps the module tolerate electrostatic discharge during installation and service.
The blue cover version (CR ordering code) is the variant offered here. The module suits machine and building control cabinets where a compact, low-profile I/O block with simple contact inputs and sink outputs is needed. Power consumption is 1 W maximum, and the unit is rated for operation from -25 to +75 °C.
