Produktinformation "MDC-771 Modbus Data Concentrator, Ethernet to 7 x RS-232 and 1 x RS-485"
MDC-771 CR provides one 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet port alongside seven RS-232 ports and one RS-485 port, so Modbus RTU devices on the serial side can be read and written from a Modbus TCP host. Each COM port can be set independently as a Modbus RTU master or slave, with its own baud rate, data format and timeout.
The unit polls the connected devices using a user-defined command table and maps their data into a continuous address range, letting the host retrieve everything in a single bulk read. Write commands are queued with the highest priority so that control updates are passed through quickly.
Configuration is handled through a simple CSV file, with an HTML5 web interface for importing, exporting and starting up the system. The model is well suited to upgrading legacy Modbus RTU equipment to an Ethernet network and to feeding centralised SCADA monitoring.
