Produktinformation "NS-200AFC-T Media Converter, 10/100 Base-TX to 100 Base-FX Multi-Mode SC"
The NS-200AFC-T CR converts a 10/100 Base-TX copper Ethernet connection into a 100 Base-FX multi-mode fibre link, with one RJ-45 port on the copper side and one SC connector on the fibre side. It suits industrial Ethernet runs that need a copper-to-fibre transition inside a control cabinet or along a plant network.
On the Ethernet side the converter negotiates 10/100 Mbps speed automatically and switches between MDI and MDI-X automatically, so straight or crossover cables can be used without configuration. It uses store-and-forward switching, supports IEEE 802.3x flow control and includes reverse polarity protection on its power input. The fibre port is specified for 2 km over multi-mode fibre, with 62.5/125 μm recommended for full duplex operation.
The housing is plastic with DIN-rail mounting and measures 33 x 107 x 78 mm (W x L x H). It is rated for operation from -30 °C to +75 °C and storage from -30 °C to +85 °C, at 10% to 90% RH non-condensing. The power input accepts +12 to +48 VDC and is non-isolated.
