NS-200AFCS-60T is an industrial media converter that bridges a copper 10/100Base-TX Ethernet segment and a 100Base-FX single-mode fibre link with an SC connector, rated for 60 km. It suits engineers who need to extend an Ethernet connection over a long fibre run without changing the connected equipment.
The RJ-45 port negotiates 10 or 100 Mbps automatically and detects MDI/MDI-X wiring itself, so it can be installed without crossover cables. The store-and-forward design handles traffic between the two media, and reverse polarity protection guards the power input.
The unit accepts a wide +12 to +48 VDC supply and runs from -30 to +75 °C. Its slim plastic housing mounts on a DIN rail, and the status LEDs show power, speed, link activity and fibre duplex mode.
