NS-205AFC-T CR is an unmanaged Ethernet switch that combines four 10/100Base-TX RJ-45 ports with one 100Base-FX multi-mode fibre port terminated in an SC connector. The fibre link keeps electrical noise away from the signal path and extends reach to 2 km in full duplex, which suits connections between cabinets or buildings where copper would be unreliable.
The switch accepts redundant +12 to +48 VDC supplies, so it can run from common industrial DC rails without an external converter. Reverse polarity protection and a relay alarm output rated 2 A @ 30 VDC help with fault monitoring on site.
Store-and-forward processing, IEEE 802.3x flow control and broadcast storm protection support stable operation on small industrial Ethernet segments. Mounting is on DIN-rail, and the operating range is -30 °C to +75 °C.
