The NS-205AFCS-60T is an unmanaged Ethernet switch that combines four RJ-45 copper ports with one 100Base-FX single-mode fibre port. It suits engineers who need to extend a 10/100 Mbps segment over long distances while keeping electrical noise out of the link.
The fibre port uses an SC connector and supports up to 60 km, with 9/125 μm fibre recommended for full duplex operation. Redundant dual +12 to +48 VDC inputs with reverse polarity protection allow the switch to run from common industrial supply voltages without an external converter, and a relay alarm output reports power faults.
