Produktinformation "VPD-173N 7-inch Touch HMI, PoE Ethernet, 2 x RS-232/RS-485"
VPD-173N CR is a 7-inch touch HMI with a high-resolution colour TFT panel, designed to replace mechanical switches with programmable control pads. It combines a touch display, Ethernet connectivity and two configurable serial ports in one wall-mounted unit, which suits building, home and industrial control panels.
Power can come from Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af, Class 1) or from a +12 to +48 VDC terminal block. Two RS-232 or RS-485 ports, with 2500 VDC isolation, allow the device to communicate with serial equipment, while the real time clock supports time-stamped operation. The front panel is rated IP65 / NEMA 4.
Application programs are built with the free HMIWorks software, which offers a Ladder Designer for PLC users and a C language environment for those who prefer programming. The manufacturer states that the Ladder Designer can be learned in no more than 30 minutes.
