FRB-200U is a universal PCI card that adds two isolated FRnet ports to a PC-based control system. It suits engineers who need PLC-like, time-critical I/O control without introducing a separate PLC. Each port controls up to 16 nodes, numbered 0 to 15, giving up to 256 DI/DO channels (128 DI and 128 DO) per port.
The board runs over shielded twisted-pair cable at 250 kbps for distances up to 400 m. Its fixed cyclic scan time of 2.88 ms covers 128 input and 128 output points, which keeps control loops predictable. Several boards can be combined to manage larger I/O counts from fewer PC slots, with less cabling than conventional high-channel-count I/O cards.
Because it supports both 5 V and 3.3 V PCI signalling, the FRB-200U fits a wider range of motherboards than the single-voltage FRB-100, and it is fully compatible with that model. Choose the FRB-200U CR when you need two ports on one card.
