DN-8237YB is a 2-axis motion control terminal board that links ICP DAS 2-axis motion controllers, such as the I-8092F and PISO-PS200, to Yaskawa Sigma II/III/V servo amplifiers. Each axis has its own pulse output lines, encoder feedback inputs, home, near-home and limit switch inputs, and a servo-enable output, all brought out to screw terminals.
Photo-coupling isolation on the signal path helps protect the motion controller from the drive side. An onboard power module generates the voltages needed by the board from a wide 20 ~ 26 VDC supply, and the power LED and status LEDs for the home and limit switches make commissioning and fault finding straightforward.
Connectors can be swapped to reassign axis definitions without rewiring, which is useful when reconfiguring a machine. Where the controller supports FRnet, a dedicated terminal provides high-speed serial I/O expansion.
