Produktinformation "ECAT-2016N EtherCAT SubDevice I/O Module, 1-ch 16-bit Strain Gauge Input"
ECAT-2016N is an EtherCAT SubDevice that brings a single strain gauge channel onto an EtherCAT network. It connects directly to a resistor bridge, so load cells and similar full-bridge sensors can be read without a separate signal conditioner. The input range is software selectable from ±10 mV up to ±1.25 V, and each reading is available to the EtherCAT Main Device through process data.
Two RJ-45 ports allow the module to be daisy-chained, which simplifies wiring and reduces the infrastructure needed. The network can be built in star, line or ring topologies, with up to 100 m between stations over 100BASE-TX. The module has a 1 ms cycle time and an isolated input and output design, with EMS protection rated to IEC 61000-4-2, -4-4 and -4-5.
The module has a removable terminal block, LED indicators and a plastic DIN-rail housing. It operates from +10 VDC to +30 VDC and across -25 ~ +75 °C. Note that range and filter settings are not supported per channel, and open wire detection is not provided.
