I-8017HCW-G is an analog input module for data acquisition tasks that need many channels and fast sampling. It accepts 16 single-ended or 8 differential inputs, and each channel can be configured individually for one of the ranges ±10 VDC, ±5 VDC, ±2.5 VDC, ±1.25 VDC or ±20 mA.
The 14-bit converter samples at up to 90 kS/s in single channel polling mode, with a 100 kHz bandwidth. An internal jumper selects the differential current input resistor, and the module ships set for voltage measurement. The ordering code CR variant covers the standard configuration of this 20-pin terminal block version.
Each channel is isolated with 2500 VDC intra-module isolation and protected against ±4 kV ESD contact discharge at each terminal, which suits electrically noisy industrial cabinets. The module is rated for an operating range of -25 ~ +75 °C and draws 2 W maximum.
