The TP-5120/NP CR is a 12.1-inch panel-mount touch monitor for operator interfaces. It pairs an 800 x 600 LED-backlit display with a 5-wire analogue resistive touch layer, so it can be operated with a finger, stylus or gloved hand.
The front panel is rated IP65 and the unit is specified for operation from -20 to +70 °C. Full-function on-screen display controls cover brightness, contrast, clock, phase, horizontal and vertical position and sharpness, so the display can be tuned on site without a host computer.
Connectivity is provided by one RS-232 combo port and one USB port. Drivers are listed for Windows, Windows IoT, WES, WinCE and Linux. The /NP suffix denotes the variant without a power supply, so a separate +12 ~ 48 VDC source is required. The source data notes that the TP-5120 is intended for use with ICP DAS PAC controllers, including the WP-5000 series, LinPAC series and XP-9000 series.
