The WFM-R14 CR adds wireless control to a 14-channel power relay output module. Its Wi-Fi link supports infrastructure and ad-hoc modes, so relay channels can be switched from a monitoring or control network without a run of cable to each output. The module communicates over Modbus TCP and can be integrated into SCADA software.
The 14 outputs comprise 2 x Form A and 12 x Form C contacts. Form A contacts are rated 5 A 250 VAC/30 VDC and 6 A 250 VAC/30 VDC, and the power-on and safe output states can be configured. Wireless security options are WEP, WPA and WPA2, with DHCP support for network addressing and a built-in watchdog for supervision.
The Wi-Fi standard depends on hardware revision: IEEE 802.11 b/g for the non-RevB version and IEEE 802.11 b/g/n for the ReVB version. The manufacturer lists this variant as Asia Only. The package includes an ANT-124-05 antenna, a CA-0910 cable and a 4SNPNA010021G wall-mount kit.
