Produktinformation "iP-8417 ISaGRAF SoftLogic PAC, 4-Slot RS-485 Controller with MiniOS7"
iP-8417 CR is a four-slot programmable automation controller from the iPAC-8000 series, running embedded ISaGRAF Ver.3 SoftLogic to IEC 61131-3 on an 80186 CPU at 80 MHz under the MiniOS7 operating system. It suits engineers who want IEC 61131-3 control logic on a DIN-rail controller with local I/O expansion and several serial links.
The unit provides four hot-swap slots for I-87K high profile serial I/O modules. Four serial ports (RS-232/485) allow connection to field devices and networks. Remote I/O is also supported through RS-485 modules from the I-7000 series, as well as RU-87Pn or I-87Kn expansion units.
Data retention is handled by 512 KB of battery-backed SRAM, and each controller carries a 64-bit hardware serial number. The redundant power inputs accept +10 ~ 30 VDC. This is the RoHS version listed under the CR ordering code. ISaGRAF cannot run on 64-bit Windows 7/8 PCs, so check the programming workstation before commissioning.
