Produktinformation "iP-8811-MRTU 8-Slot Modbus RTU I/O Expansion Unit for I-8K and I-87K Modules"
The iP-8811-MRTU CR extends a Modbus serial network with eight slots for I-8K and I-87K series I/O modules. It acts as a Modbus RTU/ASCII slave, so the analogue and digital inputs and outputs, counters and frequency modules fitted in its slots can be read and controlled from a SCADA system, HMI or PLC over the serial port.
The unit is built for harsh, electrically noisy sites. It accepts a wide +10 ~ 30 VDC supply with redundant power inputs and 1 kV isolated power input, and it operates between -25 and +75 °C. Auto configuration and LED fault indicators simplify installation and maintenance of the fitted modules.
Software support covers MiniOS7 with C language development, and the manufacturer provides SDKs for Windows XP, Windows CE 5.0/6.0, Linux and MiniOS7. The unit mounts on DIN-rail or wall, and its 8-bit DIP switch sets the address.
